Laze pri Predagradu by the river Kolpa is a perfect starting-point for mountaineering and walks of various difficulties. All paths are marked.

In the Laze village you can see the Church of St. Vid, where they discovered the frescos dating back to 1657.

In the Bilpa village you can visit the blacksmith's workshop, which is still in operation. In the vicinity, there are also plenty of Karst caves that are reachable and worth a visit.

The marked mountain path brings you to the top of the hill Kozice. From there you can enjoy the beautiful view on the canyon of the river Kolpa, Bela Krajina, and distant Croatia.
